About
Tech junkie with love for business and transformation
I've been in the tech world for over 30 years — from the early days of the commercial internet in the 90s to leading AI transformation at scale today. I have a deep love for solving business challenges with technology, and I've always been an early adopter, driven by curiosity about how emerging tech can move organizations forward.
My background starts with a Bachelor's in Computer Science and a career that began in software development. Since then I've held roles including Systems Architect, Chief Systems Architect, Business Analyst, Founder, Co-founder, and CEO. Today I serve as CTO at Avidly, where I own our tech strategy and drive implementation across multiple regions.
My core focus is making AI practical, adoptable, and high-impact for businesses — not just understanding the technology, but leading the cultural and operational shifts that turn AI from a buzzword into a competitive advantage. What sets me apart is that I stay hands-on. I believe a technology leader who doesn't ship code loses their edge.
Outside of tech I'm a sport junkie and love to travel. Over the years I've focused on triathlon, cycling, running, and cross-country skiing. I've completed several Ironman races, numerous long-distance cross-country skiing races, and a couple of long-distance cycling races. I have two Superklassikern under my belt, the fastest in 18 hours. Superklassikern means completing these Swedish classics at a combined time under 20 hours (I did it in 18h!):
- 315 km cycling at Vätternrundan
- 3,000 m open water swimming at Vansbrosimningen
- 30 km trail run at Lidingöloppet
- 90 km cross-country skiing at Vasaloppet
I have a wife and three kids that I love to spend time with.
